I want to be a tutor because the education of America's youth is what will keep our country successful and prosperous. Also, students need extra help outside of the classroom to be successful. I was lucky enough to graduate high school with honors and I believe every student should be given this opportunity. I truly believe that you should be the change you wish to see in the world, and because I want every child to be able to obtain his or her dreams I want to help them get there.
I am entering my fourth year at the University of Texas. I am enrolled in two writing classes because writing is one of my majors. I am also enrolled in two advertising classes and a public relations writing techniques class because public relations is my other major. I completed two semesters of college calculus. I find myself to be very organized and have learned that this is the best jumping off point to be successful in school.
I am currently spending the summer in Chicago working for a law firm because I want to go to law school. I spend a lot of time researching so I am very good at it and can definitely help students write research papers. |
| Hobbies: | I enjoy to ride my bike around the UT campus and surrounding areas. I am vice president of my sorority, and this is the third year that I have held a leadership position. I will also be the secretary for a greek honor society starting in the fall of 2008. |
