| Experience: | Hello! I am graduating from the University of Texas at Austin, earning degrees in Humanities (the closest option on this website was religious studies) and Film. I just finished writing my honors undergraduate thesis on 14th century German mystics (Meister Eckhart) and 14th century Muslim Sufis (al-Arabi). I love to learn and help others learn. I am energetic but also laid-back and relaxed. However, I do know when it is time to slow down and take things seriously, and what it takes to become a highly successful student. I want to become a tutor, as (I sound like a nerd!) I love academics and being in an environment where learning is the number one priority.

I have extensive teaching experience, having spent the past 5 summers teaching tennis at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. In addition, I have tutored a a number of my friends on courses related to medieval history, religious history (christianity, islam, buddhism, hinduism), and film. |
